By DEER & DOE, Aubépine Dress is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: Empire-waist dress with elbow-length sleeves, lined. Tucks on bodice and sleeves, waist drawstring and flared skirt punctuated by eight inverted box pleats.
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 34 to 46. Sizes 48, 50 and 52 are only available in PDF format please shop direct with Deer & Doe Patrons de couture. Sizing guide can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Lawn, rayon, lyocell (Tencel), cotton voile or lightweight chambray.
Fabric used for Version A: Cotton Lyocell Crepe
Fabric used for Version B: Cotton Voile.
Fabric requirements: 150cm fabric width Version A: 2.4 metres, Version B: 2.4 metres or 115cm fabric width Version A: 2.9 metres, Version B: 2.7 metres. Lining 2.2 metres.
Trims required: 1.5 metres ribbon and 60cm thin elastic.
Skill Level: The pattern is placed at a Level 3 out of 5, on the Deer & Doe pattern skill scale, which means you should be confident using sewing patterns and can handle basic pattern alterations to achieve a good fit. Intermediate.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction in English and French.
