By SEW HOUSE SEVEN, Burnside Bibs is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The Burnside Bibs are not your traditional work overalls. Yes, they are comfortable and easy to wear, yet they are much more stylish and feminine than traditional versions. The straps that transition to narrower ties offer many options for how they can be tied. And...like so many sewing patterns, we as sewists are able to influence how casual or dressed up they become simply by fabric choice. Choose a fabric with some drape such as Tencel and pair them with a silk blouse and some heels for a dressed-up look. Use a more traditional denim or linen and wear them with a tee-shirt, sneakers or clogs and take a more casual approach.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, sizes 00-20 and NEW curvy sizes 18-34. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here

Fabric Suggestions: For a more utilitarian and casual look use fabric such as denim, canvas, stiff linen or cotton twill. For a dressy, flowy version use light weight to mid-weight woven fabrics that are not too stiff and preferably with some drape such as Tencel, linen, wool gaberdine or sandwashed silk.

Trims required: Matching thread, 18-23cm (7-9") invisible zipper (Version #1 only) lightweight fusible interfacing (see amounts required in fabric requirements).

Skill Level: Intermediate level
