THE LANA TEADRESS • Pattern
NOW & THEN PATTERNS by TIL THE SUN GOES DOWN, the Lana TeaDress is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: A perfect teadress that is so versatile you'll make it again and again. It has a look that's a little 1930's but also something of the 1940's. There are three versions included in the pattern.
Version A has a gathered sleeve head and a pleat into it's cuff.
Version B has a gathered sleeve head with a fluted hem.
Version C has a long straight sleeve.
Version D has a long skirt. The skirt is cut on the bias and gently skims the waist and hips making it very easy to wear.
Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 8-20. Sizing guide, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Light to medium weight with some drape. For best results use a woven fabric with some "give". ie crepe de chine, viscose crepe or a lightweight wool.
Trims required: Matching thread, press-studs for side opening plaquet or a 18-20cm zip. Optional contrast colour yoke piping.
Skill Level: Intermediate.
The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instructions.
