ELASTIC WAIST SKIRT • Mini • Pattern

By THE ASSEMBLY LINE, Elastic Waist Skirt Mini is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The Elastic waist skirt mini is a playful skirt with plenty of width, knee length, an elasticated waistband and large patch pockets. 

This pattern is designed as the new Elastic waist maxi skirt but for your little ones.

Sizing: Includes sizes for 3-4 years,  5-6 years,  7-8 years and 9-10 years. Sizing guide and finished garment measurements can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: Suggested fabrics are light to midweight fabrics such as cotton poplin, denim, wool, faux leather, cotton twill.

Fabric requirements: Fabric width 110-120 cm and 140-150 cm 
3-4 years 0.9 m / 5-6 years 1.0 m / 7-8 years 1.2 m / 9-10 years 1.3 m

Trims required: Matching thread, fusible interfacing, 5 cm wide elastic tape. Length 60-65 cm. Measure the waist and add 3 cm (includes seam allowance to overlap)
Option: If you cannot find an elastic waistband that is exactly 5 cm wide you can use any width you prefer. But make sure to change the width of the fabric waistband to this formula; - The width of the elastic waistband x 2 + 2.5 cm. 

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern. 

The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction.
