LINEN 200gsm • Renaissance • $72.00/metre
By Merchant & Mills Linen $72.00 per metre.
A painterly check of warm browns, oxblood and rust. Pattern repeat 4.8cm and square size 1.25cm.
European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness. This linen is yarn dyed, meaning the yarns are dyed before being woven.
Renaissance is suitable for dresses, tops, loose fitting trousers and even slouchy jackets. It would make a fine Ellis dress. If you are using this linen for curtains we recommend using a lining to prevent fading.
200gsm or 5.9oz
Matching Gütermann rPET thread: Col 446
Wash at 30 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Linen will always seize up after washing but as soon as you start to use/wear it the fibres relax again. Never dry linen in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade.
Manufactured: This linen is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric. This linen is Oeko-Tex certified.
We try our best to give an accurate representation of our fabrics, however due to varying monitor settings the colours may differ slightly to the original fabric. If you want to be sure about the colour, weight or size of a design please order a sample.
Our fabric is sold per 25cm (¼ metre). If you would like to purchase one metre of fabric please enter 4 units. When purchasing multiple units, the fabric will be cut continuously.
