By PATTERN FANTASTIQUE, Equinox Tee is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details:  The Equinox Tee is a reinvention of a classic 60’s tee. Pair with your fave jeans whilst channelling today’s Jane Birkin.

The neckline is widened to a subtle boat neck leading into a dropped shoulder with bold, round sleeve caps. Skimming over the bust and dropping straight to high hip with no waist shaping. A slightly cropped body length with subtly curved hemline finishing just below the high hip.

The two sleeve options include the classic cap with a generous hem width, or a very cute bell flare, landing at bracelet length. Giving an easy to wear basic unique edge. This will be a high rotation, wardrobe favourite.

Sizing: This is a multi-sized pattern Australian sizes 6 - 16. Sizing chart can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: The Equinox tee suits basic cotton knits, interlock, "rugby knit", merino knit, fleece and french terry are all suitable. Keep Lycra / Elastane to a minimum of 5% or less. Too much stretch makes for a stiff neckband. Ponti weights or viscose, silk, linen, super drapey knits aren't suited for this pattern.

Fabric requirements: Cap sleeve option - 200cm fabric width: 70 cm, 150cm fabric width: 90 cm and 120cm fabric width: 130cm

Bell sleeve option - 200cm fabric width: 120cm, 120 - 150cm fabric width: 130cm

Trims required: Matching woolly nylon thread, ball point/stretch sewing machine needles (twin needles optional), bias fusible stay tape.

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The paper pattern comes packaged in an envelope, this pattern's instructions can be found by accessing the Pattern Fantastique blog here. The blog hosts a set of linked, photo rich instructions on how to make a Tee-Shirt from 'What stitch to choose' to 'Inserting a knit neck band'.
