THE GOOD TIMES SKIRT • Pattern
By MAVEN, The Good Times Skirt is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: The Good Times pattern is a slim A-line skirt with a reverse seam detail that makes the most of a beautiful selvedge. Oh, and it has huge pockets! It continues our ethos of making well thought out practical patterns to fill a need in your wardrobe for many years to come.
This skirt is fitted through the hip and has been designed to be made in 2-way stretch denim & takes advantage of those gorgeous selvedges that no-one wants to throw away!
But don’t worry if your favourite denim has a less than perfect selvedge, we’ve got you covered with 4 other seam finishes too.
With 2 hem options to choose from – finished with contrast fabric facing and deep topstitching or an on-trend raw edge finish you can create multiple looks from this one pattern.
The waistband cleverly uses the reverse of the denim for a delightful contrast. A centre back channelled zip finishes at the top of the waistband for a clean contemporary finish.
