Sewing Patterns by Masin, Cloud Dress is a PDF sewing pattern. The design is published in TAUKO Magazine issue No. 4.

File Name: Cloud DressType: ZIPSize: 3.8MB

Garment Details: CLOUD is a versatile ruffle top and dress design inviting you to play with adding and removing tiers. You can make a top by only attaching the first tier, a midi dress with two tiers, or a floor-length gown by adding a third tier.

CLOUD is the perfect pattern for beginners – you’ll learn how to sew a neckline facing and how to become a pro at making gathers.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 1-9. Choose your size based on your bust measurement. This dress is an oversized look. The recommended positive ease is 2–3"/5–8cm at the bust. Sizing chart for sewing patterns by Masin can be found here, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here

Anastasia Lapsuy is 56"/142 cm tall and wears the CLOUD top in size 5, Ajak Majok is 66"/168 cm tall and wears the CLOUD midi dress in size 2 and Jasmin Henzi is 172cm/68” tall and wears the hacked CLOUD mini dress in size 2.

Fabric Suggestions: CLOUD works best in non-stretch, light to medium weight woven fabrics. A stiff cotton fabric for this piece will hold its voluminous shape. Choose a rayon/viscose fabric if you want a more romantic, flowy look. You can also make the CLOUD dress in a sheer fabric such as chiffon and wear it over a simple slip dress for a more elegant look.

The gingham sample dress is made with a linen/cotton blend called Garden Party - Olive 210 gsm (currently in stock Daffodil, Friday Blue & Smile) and the petrol blue sample is made with an Organic Cotton Poplin called Diesel 125 gsm, both by Merchant & Mills.

Trims required: Matching thread, interfacing: width 90 cm x length 26cm & 6 buttons x 1.5 cm wide.

Skill Level: Beginner skill level.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
