We endeavour to ship all of your items within three business days of your order being processed. Shipping will not take place on any Public Holidays.

FREE shipping is offered within Australia for all orders $180.00 and over, with the exception of orders over 5kg - these will have to be calculated on an individual basis.

We use Australia Post because it is reliable, trackable and carbon-neutral

For all Australian shipping we use a flat shipping rate of $9.95 and for NZ $26.00 (up to 1kg), which includes the cost of shipping, tracking, handling and packaging.

If your order qualifies for "Untracked Shipping" and you choose this method of shipping, Pattern Scissors Frock takes no responsibility for your order being lost of damaged in transit.

International shipments are available with shipping costs based on the weight, size and destination of your order. Please contact us with your order requirements and address so we can provide a quote on shipping charges. We will email you with the purchase and shipping costs (in AUD).

Import Duties and Taxes

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Pattern Scissors Frock is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Pattern Scissors Frock is happy to replace or exchange items within 14 days of purchase as long as they are returned in original condition and packaging.

The exceptions to this are:

  • Cut length fabric
  • Cut length elastic
  • Sewing paper patterns (due to copyright)
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance/Sale items

Unless these are deemed faulty in some way. All faulty items can be returned for a replacement or exchange within 14 days, please get in touch with us before returning any of your items.

Damages and issues

We inspect fabrics carefully before sending them out, but if we have overlooked a defect or you have specific feedback on a product please let us know so that we are able to resolve the issue.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We have made our best efforts to photograph and replicate colours of fabrics accurately on this site. Please be aware that different computer screens may display colours differently. If you are unsure if the colour, weight and texture of the fabric is right for your project, please purchase a fabric sample which can be found here with free shipping within Australia & New Zealand. 

To start a return, you can get in touch at If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. But don't forget to contact us first before returning any item.
