We endeavour to ship all of your items on the same day if your order is placed prior to 12pm midday or within two to three business days of your order being processed.
All orders will be posted as "Authority to Leave", this allows the couriers to leave your package unattended at the shipping address provided by you without obtaining a signature. If you would prefer your order to be posted with "Signature on delivery" please add this to your order by clicking here. Pattern Scissors Frock can not be held responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
Shipping will not take place on any Public Holidays.
We use Australia Post because it is reliable, trackable and carbon-neutral.
Standard Australian shipping & handling is based on weight or cubic weight equivalent starting at $10.95. Orders over 5kgs, will be calculated on an individual basis and we suggest you email for a quote.
Also offered is Australia Post Express Post, this still remains the fastest shipping service. We will endeavour to dispatch on the same day, if received by 12pm midday (AEST) or within two to three business days of your order being processed.
If your order qualifies for "Untracked Shipping" and you choose this method of shipping, Pattern Scissors Frock takes no responsibility for your order being lost or damaged in transit. This option of shipping will also take longer to be delivered to you.
Extra Postage Cover Insurance with Australia Post is optional, but highly recommended, as Pattern Scissors Frock will not cover lost parcels. This extra cost gives you peace of mind, that if your parcel does go missing, you are financially covered to replace your order & can be added to your order by by clicking here.
Australia Post covers loss for the first $100 worth of your sewing goodies.
Extra Postage Cover Insurance is $2.50 for every $100 or part there of, worth of goods and postage, OVER the first $100 worth.
Please order in lots of $100 worth of cover, remembering the first $100 is already covered.
If you order 1 - you will be covered for $200 worth of goods and postage.
If you order 2 - you will be covered for $300 worth of goods and postage.
If you order 3 - you will be covered for $400 worth of goods and postage.
And so on.
Please note: Signature on Delivery is required if you have purchased insurance and your order is valued above $500. We will include this as a complimentary service.
Make sure you include your postage costs in your final coverage amount to cover everything.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA & NZ. International shipments are available with shipping costs based on the weight, size and destination of your order. Please contact us with your order requirements and address so we can provide a quote on shipping charges. We will email you with the purchase and shipping costs (in AUD).
Import Duties and Taxes
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Pattern Scissors Frock is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Pattern Scissors Frock is happy to replace or exchange items within 14 days of purchase as long as they are returned in original condition and packaging.
The exceptions to this are:
- Cut length fabric
- Cut length elastic
- Sewing paper patterns (due to copyright laws)
- Digital (PDF) sewing patterns (due to copyright laws)
- Gift cards
- Clearance/Sale items
A service fee of 6% of the total value of the order will be charged. Unless these are deemed faulty in some way. All faulty items can be returned for a replacement or exchange within 14 days, please get in touch with us before returning any of your items.
Damages and issues
We inspect fabrics carefully before sending them out, but if we have overlooked a defect or you have specific feedback on a product please let us know so that we are able to resolve the issue.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We have made our best efforts to photograph and replicate colours of fabrics accurately on this site. Please be aware that different computer screens may display colours differently. If you are unsure if the colour, weight and texture of the fabric is right for your project, please purchase a fabric sample which can be found here with complimentary shipping within Australia.
To start a return, you can get in touch at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. But don't forget to contact us first before returning any item.
