By IKATEE, the Rabat Vest is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: The Rabat is a versatile women's vest that is fully lined, with two lengths to choose from, the short is to the waist and the long sits at the mid-hip. Three neckline options: round neckline, v-neckline, stand-up collar. Fastened with buttons, or snaps, or ties, or toggle closure(s), loop(s) and button(s), webbing or a zipper.
Optional pockets in the cut-out (long version only) and optional belt and loops for the long version.
Sizing: This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including French sizes 32-52. Sizing chart can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Designed for woven or knit fabrics. Woven fabric suggestions: sherpa, faux fur, quilted fabric, corduroy, linen, poplin, double gauze, flannel, wool, denim, chambray, twill, jacquard. Looks amazing in the Thelma Thermal Quilt range. Knit: fleece, French terry, quilted sweatshirt, jersey, terry.

Trims required: Matching thread, buttons or snaps option: thin interfacing + 15 mm (⅝’’) buttons or snaps. Tie option: ribbon, cord, lace, braid. Toggle closure option: 1 to 5 brandenburg(s). Zipper option: open end metal or plastic zipper (see measurements on the chart). Webbing option: 40 mm (1 ½’’) webbing (about 60 cm / 24’’) + 2 buckles with 38 mm (1 ½’’) half round loops
Skill Level: Suitable for a beginner to intermediate skill level.
