Garment Details: The Barcelona sewing pattern is the perfect dress to take you from day to evening with 2 bodice options – a classic boat neck or a sassy V back.
Designed to make a statement in stripes with her chevroned detailed skirt, she is just as delightful in a plain fabric for or make her in an elegant cloth for a chic and glamorous look!

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes UK 8-18. Sizing and fabric requirements can be found here.
Fabric Suggestions: Designed with a stripe in mind the Barcelona would also work well in a plain or printed cloth. Use a woven light to medium dress weight fabric with a soft stable handle such as denim, chambray, linen, fine wools, brocade. *Soft and drapey cloths may require extra ease at hips to allow for the extra dropping that will occur at the hem & it may be advisable to omit the pockets.
Trims required: Matching thread, Version A: invisible (concealed) zip - sizes 8-12: 56cm (22"), sizes 14-18: 60cm (23.5"), fusible interfacing 45cm 25cm (18" x 10"), hook & eye. Verson B: invisible zip - all sizes 56cm (22"), fusible interfacing 30cm x 25cm (12" x 10"), stay tape - 60cm (23") and hook & eye.
Skill Level: The Barcelona is aimed at an INTERMEDIATE maker, but it will be an easier project should you choose a plain fabric.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
