MINI VIRGINIA LEGGINGS • Pattern

By MEGAN NIELSEN, Mini Virginia Leggings is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The ultimate pair of basic leggings with an elasticated waist. Pattern sits below the natural waist and features two lengths, two waistbands, optional cuffs and four knee patch options.

Version 1 is a legging with knee patches. Version 2 is a legging with cuffs and separate waistband. Version 3 is a shortie for layering under skirts & dresses.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including ages: 3-12. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here. 

Fabric Suggestions: Stretch fabrics with at least 30% stretch - preferably containing spandex or lycra. Please note that this pattern has negative ease, and as such it is very important to choose fabrics with the appropriate amount of stretch in order to get the correct fit. 

Trims required: Matching thread, 1"(2.5cm) wide elastic, contrast fabric or leather for knee patches (V1).

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
