SIRIUS DRESS • Pattern

By FRENCH PEOTRY, The Sirius Dress is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The Sirius dress is a breezy, fully lined, strappy, short summer dress. Featuring a fitted bodice with princess seams and back zipper closure with a lovely full flared skirt.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes XS-XL (2-16). Sizing guide, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: The Lune dress pattern is designed for lightweight woven fabrics, such as twill, crepe, poplin, viscose, Tencel, silk, linen, cotton or polyester. The lining must be of a lighter or similar weight, and with a similar drape.

Trims required: Matching thread, a 25cm invisible zipper & a loop turner will also be useful for straps.

Skill Level: The pattern is placed at a Level 2 out of 5, on the French Poetry pattern skill scale, which means you should be at a confident beginner. This dress will be fairly easy to make for anyone who has made a few garments already, knows how to read a pattern and how to sew an invisible zipper. The instructions booklet offers a lot of detailed digital illustrations to understand each step of the process. 

The number indicated on the French Poetry patterns and on the product pages correspond to your sewing experience level, on a 5-point scale:

3/ Intermediate
4/ Advanced
5/ Expert

The paper pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with a step-by-step assembly instruction in English.

A 5/8” (1.5cm) seam allowance is included.
