By SEW HOUSE SEVEN, Wildwood Wrap Dress is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The Wildwood Wrap Dress is perfect for the office, parties, weddings or when you just feel like wearing a dress. It is a true wrap dress, although with a detached, obi inspired belt. The beauty of this dress is created by the drape of the shawl collar and enhanced by the waist and shoulder pleats. It has generous front pockets, and a slim skirt with a wide, faced hem. French seams are used to construct the upper bodice so version B looks pretty once the sleeves are rolled up. Choose a below the knee hem or longer midi-length hem.

Although it was originally designed with linen fabrics in mind, short sleeve version A also looks great in slinky and drapey silks and rayon fabrics. The dolman sleeve version B works best with more stable fabrics such as linen and cotton.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern with two size ranges to choose from, sizes 00-22 and 16-34. Sew House Seven's sizing information chart can be found here. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements for size range of 00-22 can be found here and for size range of 16-34 information can be found here.

Fabric Suggestions: Sleeve version A & B - dress weight linen, linen blends, supple cotton lawn, cotton Ikat, dress weight cottons that aren't too stiff. Sleeve version A (additional fabrics) - rayon, cotton sateen, Tencel/linen blends, silk, fabrics with some drape.

Trims required: Matching thread, light weight fusible interfacing, one 18mm (¾") button, 107cm (42") of 6mm (¼") wide twill tape or ready made ties, small hook and eye set.

Skill Level: This pattern is rated intermediate due to the skirt facing technique and French seamed shawl collar and shoulders.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.

Each pattern features an instruction booklet and pattern pieces printed on tissue paper.

    Easier than it looks

Beautiful pattern and dress true on sizing. Lots of room in the top and sexy pencil line drop in the bottom half. Made it in linen and will have forever. I'm planning to hack top half as a top and bottom half as skirt. The drape in linen is gorgeous.

The first time I have sewn a sew house 7 pattern. So was pleasantly surprised when suggested measurements fitted, and all dots and notches matched. The instructions are clear and diagrams are a good guide. If you you get stumped on hem facings as I did Youtube has a great video on sewing this pattern.I used a quilting cotton to make this dress and I am extremely happy with it. Already cut out, my next one is in silk.
