MORGAN JEANS • Pattern
By Closet Core Patterns, Morgan Jeans is a paper sewing pattern.
Garment Details: Meet Morgan, slim-cut jeans designed for non-stretch denim. Inspired by old school denim style but with a fresh, modern cut, Morgan Jeans are engineered to flatter.
Featuring a mid-rise, traditional five pocket construction, contoured waistband, tapered leg and button fly, Morgan fits snugly through the hip but relaxes and conforms to your curves with a little wear (size up for a slouchier, more casual fit). Choose between a regular or cropped inseam, and add an optional leather waistband patch.
Fabric Suggestions: Non-stretch denim, twill, canvas or heavier weight linen (please note that heavier weight denims do not have as much give and may require going up a size) Pockets: Medium weight wovens, such as quilting cotton. Lining: All sizes: 0.5 yd / 50cms. Browse our selection of denim here.
Trims required: Matching thread & Topstitching thread, jeans buttons (size 0-14 x 4, size 16-18 x 5, size 20 x 6). Denim rivets (optional), 1/4 yd fusible interfacing, marking tool, denim needles and a small patch of leather for optional waistband patch. Jean Hardware - making kits can be added to your order here.
Skill Level: Suitable for an intermediate skill level.
All seam allowances are included and 5/8" unless otherwise stated.
