Garment Details: An oversized, boxy shirt with a dropped back hem and half placket. Swingy and absurdly comfortable.
Sizing: This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes UK6–18 or UK18-28. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here.
Maxine wears a 14 in Bertie linen. Elwen wears a 14, for an oversized look in Bertie linen. Elwen wears a size 10 in linen. Katie wears a size 8 in Jaffa Indian cotton. Brenda wears a size 10 in M&M Warm White 160gsm.
Claire wears a UK 26 in M&M Euphoria Tencel/linen and Larli wears a UK 20 in M&M Esme hemp/cotton chambray.
Fabric Suggestions: 3-6oz linen, cotton poplin, cotton lawn, cotton double gauze, cotton chambray, Tencel, hemp/cotton blends. Do not choose anything too heavy, as the back is lower than the front it will pull down making it uncomfortable at the neck!
Trims required: Matching thread, 6 x 11-15mm (1/2″–3/4″) buttons and 0.3M (1/2YD) lightweight interfacing.
Skill Level: Suitable for Intermediate
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
