WREN BLOUSE & DRESS • Pattern

By CHALK & NOTCH, the Wren Blouse & Dress is a paper sewing pattern.

Garment Details: The Wren pattern is a button-front blouse and a mini dress. The mini dress has a dropped waist with a gathered skirt and is loose through the waist and hips. There are two statement sleeve options. A short sleeve with a puff cap and an elastic hem and a long sleeve with a cuff.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 0-30, with two bust options. Sizing, finished garment measurements and fabric requirements can be found here. 

Fabric Suggestions: This pattern is designed for a light to medium woven. Fabric with a nice drape would work best for the mini dress (viw B). Recommeded fabrics are cotton lawn, cotton voile, cotton shirting, linen, double gauze, rayon challis, rayon crepe and rayon voile.

Trims required: Matching thread, 70cm (3/4yd) Tricot Fusible Interfacing for facings and cuffs, six or seven 1.25cm (1/2") buttons for the centre front. Two or four 1.25cm (1/2") buttons for the long sleeve cuffs and 1cm (1yd 3/8") elastic for the short sleeve.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.
